Dreamkumo

Watch out, Dreamkumo is gonna be the next big thing! This started last year as a 48-hour Startup Weekend project and we’ve since rethought what we’d like the site to become and are in the middle of rebuilding it from scratch.

The principle ambition of the site is to get people thinking about those big things they’ve always wanted to do but for one reason or another, never actually got around to. Maybe it was never affordable, they never had the time, didn’t know how to get started, etc. We’d like to get people thinking about those dreams and aspirations and show them just how all of those of those hurdles are actually much smaller than they appear. While working towards those dreams they can can also use Dreamkumo as a way to connect with others that share the same dream, and who could provide both encouragement and tips.

I’m really excited to be a part of this project because I think we all have the capacity and potential to do what makes us happy, but sometimes we need a little guidance (or just a kick in the pants) to get going. Can’t wait to get it launched!

We’re planning on a Beta release in a couple months. If you’re interested in getting an early invite, sign up here. And you can follow us on our Facebook page.

Lean Dog Software

My first long term gig as an independent is with an incredible local company, Lean Dog. They are a huge force in bringing solid agile practices to our surrounding area and do everything including software delivery, coaching, training, and guiding organizations through company-wide transformations.

Currently I’m working with an awesome client of their’s, Erie Insurance, to deliver a new mission-critical application for use by their agents. I joined an extremely talented team who believes in and follows a very effective agile process. Having a lot of fun with this project!
